The RTX 3090 Ti will use Micron's most advanced GDDR6X memory, mt61K512M32KPA-21U. A total of 12 chips are 24GB G6X, 384bit wide, and the total bandwidth can reach 1008GB/s.
The advantages of the new video memory are two aspects, one is a single chip capacity of 2GB (16Gb), and the second is up to 21Gbps speed (the current RTX 3090 is 19.5Gbps).
In terms of specifications, the new features of the RTX 3090 Ti will include a 16Pin external power supply port, PCIe 5.0 slot and more, because the thermal design of the RTX 3090 Ti will increase by 100W by comparison, to 450W with the RTX 3090. Elsewhere, the RTX 3090 Ti will turn on the full GA102 core with 10,752 CUDA cells.
